We're Sarah and Ben, the founders of Dancing Sands

Dancing Sands was born in 2016 in the remote, breathtaking town of Tākaka, Golden Bay. With no background in distilling, we started as curious creators, experimenting late into the night and learning everything from scratch.

Today, we’re one of New Zealand’s most awarded distilleries, but what drives us hasn’t changed: crafting innovative flavours, embracing sustainable practices, and creating spirits that excite and inspire.
