Handcrafted from the finest molasses and aged for 7 years in oak casks, this New Zealand rum delivers a smooth, bold profile with layers of rich caramel, vanilla and toasted oak.  Smooth and sophisticated, drink it neat or with an ice cube.
Back in 2016, when Sarah and Ben started Dancing Sands, one of the first things they did was start making Rum. Of course, they also made Gin – which is what took off and what Dancing Sands has come known for – but for the first few months they diligently experimented with Rum fermentation, different yeasts and distilling techniques until they had a recipe they were happy with. Then they set about filling barrels for aging, which have been quietly sat in the Distillery ever since.
7 years later, after meticulously tasting and blending the barrels, we are ready to release this beautiful spirit for you to enjoy.
